From above

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, neither shadow that is cast by turning. (James 1:17)

You may think your friend gave it to you, perhaps your mom or dad, maybe it's from your girlfriend.

If you have recieved a gift or a blessing from somebody. Always remember, it passed through His hands first.

Give credit where credit is due. Whatever it is, God gave it to you, because He loves you!

I have a bad tendancy to trust in my own efforts. I think "if I play my cards right, maybe things can work out better for me". Having this form of thinking causes us to manipulate our circumstances, so that we may have a better outcome.

What I have learned time and time again is that regardless all of my effort and labor GOD always has the last word.

So my conclusion is....... release whatever your holding onto and just bow down at his feet. This is called true surrender.

So shall we

For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered up into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and when he is killed, after three days he shall rise again.
(Mark 9:31)

If He has risen, so shall we!!!

It's NOT about the Benjamin's

But godliness with contentment is great gain:

I know this to be true, you know this to be true. So why do we still struggle to have just a little more. Truth be told, it's because our devotion time with the LORD has been put on the back burner. Our desires then get out of wack "I will get to my devotions later" but night comes and goes and another day slipped through our fingers. A Spirit unfed creates hunger for the things that are dead. LORD help us to make you our first priority, everything else can wait.

Wedding Bells

This weekend I have the honor of peforming the marriage ceremony for my brother and new sister Talitha!

So that they are no longer two, but one flesh. Then let not that which has been joined by God be parted by man. Matthew 19:6

I love marriage because it reminds me of God's love, regardless our short comings He will never divorce us. This is why He hates divorce so much. It's not in His character, only man chooses this path.
