Temptation! one of our worst enemies. They come perfectly fitted to our size. Regardless of how fun, sensual or flavorable they may be, they all do the same thing once we give in. They leave us in regret, dissapointment, sadness or even depression. It's NEVER as fulfilling as we thought it would be.As long as we live on this earth, temptation will never go away, but there is one truth we can hold on to. Temptation does not have control over us. Sometimes we think "I just cant help myself". NOT TRUE whether you believe it or not, you have been 100% delivered by the cross.
There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it. (1Corinthians 10:13)
God has told us that no temptation should over take us.
