God sees even when others don't.

As Mother's Day approaches, I think of what a privilege it is to be a mom. It is a job that is most rewarding and yet at times the most self-sacrificing. There are times when you feel so appreciated and times you feel invisible. But I love knowing that whatever I do for my kids, whether it be cleaning up after them, preparing a good meal, or staying up to pray for them, that my God is El-ROI,  the God who sees.  Through child raising I am taught the most wonderful spiritual lessons, like unconditional love, obedience, discipline, hard-work, sacrifice, service, trust, and humility. As I seek God for help in raising my children, He teaches me, and helps me teach them. Remember our God is watching and nothing you do goes unnoticed. Put the Lord first in raising your kids and you will have success. Prov. 22:6

SLAUGHTERED

"There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.
"But before all this, they will lay hands on you and persecute you. They will deliver you to synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name. " (LUKE 21:11-12)

Most of us would never think this would be a reality. The fact is Christianity is on the radar of many extremest and critics. Lines are being drawn and if you find yourself on the wrong side you will be marked out as a bigot, intolerable and prejudice .

But name calling is the least of our concerns. We are headed to a new world that will not tolerate us, resulting in prison and yes even death.

ARE WE TO WORRY..........
Let's see what Christ has to say on this issue.

"But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves.
For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict." (LUKE 21:14)

Family, stand firm, read your word and share Christ's Love!!!

LONER

Many love the character of the "Lone Ranger" the one man wrecking crew. You answer to no one and depend on no one. Self sufficient, ready to take on the world. It's so appealing yet very wrong. In our christian faith there is no such thing as the lone ranger. The moment we find ourselves separated from fellowship is the moment we are most vulnerable. Get connected!
Think of ways to encourage one another to outbursts of love and good deeds.
And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near. (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Tongue

So also, the tongue is a small thing, but what enormous damage it can do. A tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. James 3:5

Our tongue is one of the most dangerous things around, yet it still has a great capability to do such great things.
Use it to bless those around you. Encourage, compliment, and edify. One phone call or comment can make someones day, TRY IT!!! Please pray that the LORD would help you use your tongue as an instrument of edification or restoration. Also that we may control the things that come from this little piece of flesh.

Second Chance

For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Romans 5:10

If our LORD forgave you while you were still in your sins why would you think he does'nt forgive you now that your His child. Rest in His GRACE! He loves you more than you know!!

I am done!!

Tired?.... Burnt out?.... Done?.... Weak?.... No energy or strength?..............GOOD!

As much as we wish we had more strength to go on, God moves mightly when we have finally given up.

"Wherefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong". (2 Corinthians 12:10)

As long as we still have strength, we will continue in our own power and confidence. It's not until we have given up that God can freely move in our lives. Take this time to relax in Him and trust that He is sufficient and needs no outside resources. This requires FAITH.

Do your best but leave it up to God to do the rest. There is only so much you were meant to do. Anything beyond this is from our own pride and flesh.

Tempting

Temptation! one of our worst enemies. They come perfectly fitted to our size. Regardless of how fun, sensual or flavorable they may be, they all do the same thing once we give in. They leave us in regret, dissapointment, sadness or even depression. It's NEVER as fulfilling as we thought it would be.

As long as we live on this earth, temptation will never go away, but there is one truth we can hold on to. Temptation does not have control over us. Sometimes we think "I just cant help myself". NOT TRUE whether you believe it or not, you have been 100% delivered by the cross.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it. (1Corinthians 10:13)

God has told us that no temptation should over take us.
